About Us

Hi my name is Bryan Finch. I am the owner and operator of Three Rivers Boatworks. I grew up in Virginia where I spent most of my free time on the water cruising, sailing, fishing, and waterfowl hunting. My dad and both my grandfathers taught me the essential skills I needed to start working on boats. During college I bought a rotting Mako and restored it as my personal boat. After college I moved with my now wife, Margaret, to Charleston. Margaret is a marine biologist with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. As soon as we moved, I found a job washing boats for a yacht dealer and quickly worked my way up in the service department, doing everything from gelcoat repairs and engine services to electronics installs and sailboat rigging on boats up to 70’. I eventually moved on from that job and worked as a parts manager in the service department of another dealership. Three Rivers Boatworks started in 2017 as a side business, and now I am running it full time. When I am not working, I spend my time fishing and hunting the waters of Lowcountry. I look forward to helping you enjoy your time on the water too.
